Laid back, intimate outdoor Summer wedding


When I first met Imogen and Umut, I knew their wedding was going to be something truly special. From the beginning, they emphasised their wish for natural and candid photography which is exactly the kind of wedding I adore documenting – intimate, relaxed, and filled with personality.

Jane was calm, relaxed, and unobtrusive, which allowed everyone to feel comfortable and natural. We wanted candid photos, and she absolutely delivered – capturing stunning, heartfelt moments with our guests and us.

Church ceremony & Garden Reception in Ware, Hertfordshire


The day began at St Mary’s Albury Church, in Hertfordshire with special significance for Imogen – being right next door to her primary school. After the ceremony, everyone made their way to Imogen’s parents' home, which had been transformed into the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding reception. A stunning marquee was surrounded by lush gardens filled with homegrown florals, complete with a rustic outdoor toilet (aka heap of manure)! Incredibly, they grew and arranged all the florals for the day themselves too, including the ceremony décor, bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, and the table arrangements – all of which were absolutely exquisite.

 

 

Garden Games, Marquee and a live band


Even though they planned a lot of the wedding themselves, Imogen & Umut had wedding planner, Carla from Herts Vintage Hire, there on the day to make sure that everything ran smoothly, and felt effortless for the couple and their guests. 


The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, with garden games and a brilliant live band JBMAC & saxophonist for the first dance and evening party.

 

 

 

We've received so many compliments on both Jane’s friendly presence and the beautiful photos she took.
