You might love the idea of a family shoot, and wish you had beautiful photos of your family to treasure, but I know how daunting it can be in front of the camera.
It's so important to me that you feel relaxed in the lead up to the shoot and on the day too, so I do everything I can to make sure that you are, because that’s what leads to those natural, intimate candid family shots.
If you are nervous about having a photoshoot, I am sharing a review from a recent family session which gives an insight into what a shoot with me is like. ✨
“I found Jane Nicholson Photography through Instagram and immediately loved her natural style of photography. I was looking to do a family/maternity shoot before our second baby arrives but as my partner and I can be shy in front of the camera I really wanted a natural and comfortable photoshoot. And that’s exactly what we got!
Before the shoot, Jane took time to check out a few park locations we suggested, even sending some photos of what the locations were like for those we hadn’t been to before. On the day Jane was extremely welcoming and friendly and immediately put us at ease.
Jane had a few locations of the park in mind for photos so we could just follow her lead on where to go but also allowed us to pick out some spots we liked too. She brought props like bubbles and toys to help keep our daughter interested. We never felt rushed and we really enjoyed our time with Jane.
I absolutely LOVE the photos we received, they have exceeded my expectations and are exactly what I wanted. We have so many beautiful photos to choose from and I am so happy that Jane was available to do our shoot. I would highly recommend Jane!”
