Spring Engagement shoot in Greenwich Park, London
relaxed and candid photography
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Lucy and Henry for their pre-wedding shoot at Greenwich Park, a place that holds special meaning for them because they spent maaaany hours walking around the park during lockdown. Being springtime in London, it was also the cherry blossom season, so we went to see if we could make use of the tail end of that beautiful backdrop.

It’s totally normal to feel nervous before an engagement shoot. One of my main aims is to make couples feel relaxed and comfortable during their shoots. We started with a leisurely walk, chatting all things weddings and life, stopping at a few locations in between to take some portraits. During the session, I provided some prompts to help them relax in front of the camera and be themselves.

I loved capturing the joy and connection between Lucy & Henry, and I cannot wait to see them again to document their wedding day in the summer.
If you’re planning a wedding in London and looking for a relaxed wedding photographer to tell the story of your wedding day, I’d love to hear from you.
