You've got a great collection of branding photos. Here's how to use them!

Barnet branding photographer

You’ve had a branding shoot and you are excited to use your new photos - but then overwhelm kicks in and you don’t know where to start. Here’s 7 quick ways to start using your new branding photography immediately:

1. Thumbnails

Controversially, I would say a good profile picture is more important than a logo! Pick your favourite headshot - one that looks and feels the most like you - then update it across all your platforms.

You can update your profile picture on:

Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook business page, Email, Tiktok, and any other social media platform you are using for your business. This will create a consistent look for your online presence.

2. Introduce yourself

Introduce or reintroduce yourself on your socials with some information about what you do and what you offer. Include some fun facts about you so your clients can get to know the person behind the business.

“Jane is very creative and super professional. I especially appreciated that she made sure we had lots of options to choose from in the edit. Jane made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera and it was a really fun and enjoyable day.”

3. Website

There are so many places on your website where you can use your new branding photos. You can refresh photos on your “about you” section of your website, use photos as headers, banners, “contact me” page. Even adding some of your personal branding photos throughout your website can give your audience a feel for who you are and help them form a deeper connection with you.

4. Instagram stories

You can use your branding photos in Instagram Stories for behind-the-scenes content, Q&A sessions, or personal updates to make your brand feel more authentic and engaging.

5. Business cards

If you are a small business like me, the chances are you have a business card. Make yours more memorable and stand out from all the sea of other business cards with a face of yourself!

6. Pricing & welcome guides

Make your pricing and welcome guides feel more you by adding your branding photos! It’s an easy way to give them a polished, professional touch while making your brand shine. When your customers are thinking about whether or not they want to work with you, it helps them feel more connected to you right from the start!

7. Email templates

We get so many emails on a daily basis. You can help yours stand out and add a personal touch by using your branding photos in your email headers or footers. This also reinforcing brand consistency every time you communicate.
